So why is all that interesting in a tech blog?????? Well you see it's not tech but it is interesting because its topical and topical gets attention! I found myself reading it, digesting it and then here I am commenting on it… its there for attention and here it is getting more attention. I looked at the article and wondered why they had managed to put this in with all the news articles of the day an almost ignored it… ALMOST…. which is why you are reading it.
It's all about traffic, eyeballs and visitors which is exactly the aim for any website. I have been taught (and reminded) many times about what it takes to get traffic and one of the best sources of traffic is topical information in traditional media. IM Genius James Schramko talks about it (on here) how easy it is to get traffic by picking topical subjects.
Traffic is one of the keys to starting an internet business and making it successful.
So this is the process you have arrived here, why was it you read about Tiger Woods?
