Imagine ThisAll the excuses people use to justify why they don’t change their financial future.

Day in, day out people from all over the globe search the net looking for ways to change their financial circumstances, but for one reason or another, ultimately don’t do anything!

Here is a list of the usual excuses people make. At the end of the day, they are all valid but as you can see here, we can legitimately blow each one of them out of the water. There really is no excuse not to take action. So, if you really are seeking a safe and reliable way to make money, take charge and do something about it! It's the only way anything will ever change for your future.

Excuse1. “I don't have a lot of time”

Devote at least a couple of hours a week to research in the beginning towards your financial future. It's not a big ask. Ask questions on facebook, twitter or specialised internet marketing forums or groups where their successes have been. Then build up to devoting one hour a day towards a project. Cut back on TV and replace one show a night with constructive online activity. This can include social media. Make the time exclusive for your internet activities, just like you do for entertainment or even having dinner.

Excuse 2. “I only have limited funds – what do I need to get started?”

Nothing. You can learn a lot from researching the free stuff first. Use social media and contact other internet marketers and exchange ideas and impressions with them. After some time when you have done your due diligence, it would be advisable to join an internet marketing group and undertake some serious education and training.

Excuse 3. “Your results are very impressive – Are they real?”

We have all heard the saying, if it sounds to good to be true, then it probably is. However, many online internet marketers are enjoying lucrative ongoing financial gains. You can start by making as little as $10 in sales per month, the start duplicating this process over and over again. That's the magic of the internet.

Excuse 4. “I am not sure – is this safe?”

For those new to internet marketing, it can seem like a very scary place. There is so much information out there and much conflicting advice. There are some small risks, but the biggest of all would be not taking any action!

Overall risk factors are minimal. Do your due diligence and research on any strategy or program you decide to undertake. That's another good reason to join a group to exchange ideas and info. Find someone who has done it before you and ask them what challenges they faced in this area, if any.

Excuse 5. “It seems pretty expensive!”

You get what you pay for! Internet marketing education programs are no different. Many mentors offer free stuff to give you an idea of how they operate and what you can expect from them.

Once you have decided what modality of online business you wish to undertake, from affiliate marketing to building websites – along with a multitude of other possibilities- paying for your education is advisable. It's a minefield out there and you will need guidance. Find others online who have already undertaken a particular course or program and ask them how it helped them achieve their goals. Go for the middle ground when purchasing a mentorship program. Not too cheap, not outrageously over the top!

Excuse 6. “I am new to all this and don't have any idea where to begin – I’m a little overwhelmed”

There is alot of info out there. Find two or three mentors to start with and subscribe to their newsletters and free stuff and get a feel for their style. Does it suit your personality and where you would like to go? For instance, some marketers are aggressive and others more subtle. What approach would you like to take? Look at their overall marketing philosophy and how they approach you, the potential paying student.

You don't want to simply follow someone blindly. You need to educate yourself to be a good marketer. One day you won’t need a mentor anymore. That should be the ultimate goal of any good teacher.

Excuse 7. “I don't have any computer tech skills”

Even though you don't have any tech skills, as long as you can master email, surfing the net, making simple documents and have some drive, you can become an internet marketer.

Master some basic computer skills and much of the other techie stuff such as building websites or any administration can be outsourced. There are many websites on the web that offer these services.

Excuse 8. “I only want to sell Australian products”

You could limit yourself to only selling Australian made products or services. However, the internet is a global market and you would be missing out on  a lot of opportunities.

If you still wish to sell Australian only then why not consider taking this product to the world market? That would be a win win.

Excuse 9. “My friends/family/partner won't approve. They all think that online businesses are scams”

Often when we want to do something new for ourselves, those closest to us can be our biggest critics. but never worry what others say or think: Our unlimited potential is often blinded by our own curable inferiority complexes. We literally can become and accomplish anything; but so often, we worry about what others will think, lack confidence in ourselves, and wrongfully assume that circumstances or other individuals dictate whether or not our goals and dreams are possible.

Never forget that if your self-esteem is low, knowledge is lacking, or ability is missing, that you can overcome, learn, and develop whatever is necessary to achieve success – it is up to YOU..

Excuse 10. “I am not good at selling”

Most people actually don't like selling stuff to other people. So how can we overcome this discomfort? The first golden rule is to find a great product that you love yourself!

Then change your outlook to selling. You are not actually selling something useless to someone. Like ice to the Eskimo. Find a product that provides a solution to a problem. That way you are actually filling a need and providing a solution to peoples' problems. You are not merely trying to make an easy dollar, you are providing something that people are looking for, something that they need.

Online internet marketing also takes away the scary person to person interaction like what happens when you walk into a shop. The buyer either likes your presentation on your website or not. However, this is where you need to hone your internet marketing skills. Remember, if the customer doesn't buy from you, it's not personal- maybe they were looking for a different product or service.
