10 Tips For Google+

As a Google Plus newbie, you’ve just set up your profile with any number of fantabulous facts and witty one-liners, but where to from here?

There is lots of new info coming out in blogs and reviews, however if you want to get a quick start and work G+ here are some simple key things to focus on to get you up and away.

This selection of ten tips to get you started:

  1. Get your profile privacy settings all sorted.
  2. Send private, or “direct” messages.
  3. Secure your Google Plus short URL.
  4. Create an “Read Later” circle.
  5. Learn Google’s text formatting shortcuts.
  6. Prevent commenting on a post.
  7. Work out exactly who a stream post has been shared with.
  8. Use the space bar to help navigate your streams.
  9. Get to know your colours.
  10. Mention (or tag) friends in your posts.
